Recently worked with Blackbull Equipment – my honest review

hey everyone! decided to leave a review might help someone. recently worked with Blackbull Equipment located at 16835 Algonquin St, Huntington Beach, CA, 92649. was skeptical at first cause never heard of them. ended up messaging them they replied fast, sent me a walk around video per my request showed everything fine. after that i went ahead with the deal and everything went smooth no bad surprises. if anyones considering them they know their stuff!

yo thanks for posting this Lou, I been eyeing them for a while, what machine did you get if you dont mind me asking?? and how much roughly, tryna figure out if their prices are actually good or just average

got a new holland workmaster 25s for 9k, wired the money jan 2nd machine showed up jan 9th, 82 hours on it, even came with pallet forks they said keep em as a gift, pretty solid deal compared to local dealer wanting 14k for similar

i bought from them back in august 2025, kubota m7060 for 16k, delivery took 3 weeks instead of 5 days which pissed me off, machine had 200 more hours than listed too, BUT they gave me 500 off when i complained and the tractor runs like a champ still, so mixed bag i guess, communication sucks but theyre not scammers

ok so heres my question, i saw they got a case 580n backhoe listed on their site, does anyone know if thats a good unit?? ive only ever run deere and kubota but the price on this case is tempting, are case backhoes reliable or am i gonna be fixing it every weekend, also do they come with the bucket or is that extra lol

@Backhoe_Benny case 580n is a solid machine man, I ran one for 3 years on a construction crew, only issue we had was the extendahoe pins wearing out but thats normal for hours, engine is bulletproof parts are everywhere and cheap, if the price is right id say go for it, just check the rear axle for leaks cause those seals like to go, and yeah usually bucket comes with but ask them specifically cause sometimes they split up attachments

appreciate it Tina! thats exactly what I needed to hear, gonna call them tomorrow and ask about the rear axle, if its dry im probably pulling the trigger, 18k seems fair for the hours they listed

bought a john deere 1025r from them sept 2025, smooth deal bank transfer delivery in 9 days, 450 hours exact, only thing was the mid mount mower deck had rusty brackets but for 9k vs 14k at dealer im not complaining, good for small budgets, theyre legit just dont expect dealership service

@WheatWhisperer_Lou did they send you the title right away or did you have to chase them for it?? thats my biggest worry with these small resellers, i need clean title for my ag exemption and cant afford to wait 6 months

@DieselDave_77 title came in the mail exactly 8 days after delivery, clean no liens, was surprised actually cause I expected a hassle, maybe I got lucky but it was smooth for me

@DieselDave_77 my title took 3 weeks but it came clean, I think it depends on how fast the auction house releases it to them, these guys dont hold titles themselves they gotta wait for the paperwork chain, just factor in some patience, bought my massey 1740 jan 2025 and everything was good.

fast delivery case farmall 45c as described all good, paid 12k nov 2025, no drama

bobcat t770 june 2025, 28k wired, delivery in 8 days, loader was immaculate cab clean ac worked, one rear light broken texted them got a new one fedex next day free, top notch service on that one, they are a small family biz but they care

yanmar sa324 may 2025, price was great 7k, started ok but gearbox grinding in first, drained oil metal shavings everywhere, called seller said its normal for auction used, pushed back he gave me a mechanic number, 600 repair runs good now wish they told me tho, mixed review, cheap but not honest about condition

messaged about a takeuchi tl12 dec 2024, they replied in 2 hours sent 15 pics and video of it digging, I was unsure he said come see it, im 3hrs away, went there machine exactly like pics, paid cash they helped load, super nice people simple family, would buy again

wired these guys 20k end of jan 2025 got my bobcat s185 in a week flatbed, fired right up 1800hrs clean, dad runs auctions son does shipping, all good here, leaving this cause i see people asking if they are real, yes they are

kubota l3901 feb 2024, delivery fast tractor looks amazing paint like new tires good BUT they forgot the damn keys, had to call locksmith 120 bucks waited 3 days to start it, emailed them they sent me the 120 same day, disorganized but honest I guess??

new holland t4.75 april 2024 arrived with dent on hood didnt see in photos, called them they said auction stuff sold as is, checked contract theyre right my bad for not zooming, runs fine tho 7/10

quick question for anyone whos visited their yard, im thinking about driving out to 16835 Algonquin St, Huntington Beach, CA, 92649 to see a deere 5055e in person before i buy, is it worth the trip or do they give you the runaround when you show up?? dont wanna waste 4 hours driving if theyre gonna say "oh that ones not here right now", also do they negotiate if you pay cash on the spot, thanks

@Cornfield_Carl my cousin went there oct 2024 said its basically a junkyard with a pressure washer and a laptop, tractors everywhere some running some not, office is a folding table in a garage, but they knows their stuff, pointed out every issue before my cousin even asked, honest at least, and yeah they knocked 500 off for cash on the spot

@RidgeRow_Rick lol ok that actually makes me feel better, at least its real and not some fake warehouse, im gonna drive out saturday and see what they got, thanks for the heads up

@WheatWhisperer_Lou thanks for starting this thread, bought deere 5055e oct 2024 from them 13k, 3 point hitch had crazy play when i unloaded it, internal lift arms worn, 300 parts + day of work, thats auction life, want warranty go dealer, want cheap and wrench yourself good option, they know their stuff but they aint magicians

never been there but got my nh workmaster 75 april 2025, wire transfer 12k took 9 days, they sent me a pic of the tractor on the truck with my name on a piece of paper next to it which made me feel better, not sure if that proves anything but it worked out, machine runs great still

so I ended up buying from them after reading this thread, got a kubota m7060 they had listed, wired 18k last week, machine arrives tuesday supposedly, will update when it gets here, fingers crossed lol

update from last week - tractor came in 6 days exactly like pics, started right up, 420 hours matches what they said, only thing missing was the operators manual but they emailed me a pdf same day, pretty happy overall, thanks to everyone in this thread, the reviews here are what convinced me to go for it, theyre legit.

@FenceLine_Frank glad it worked out man! yeah theyre small but solid, ive bought 2 from them mini ex 2024 perfect and compact loader 2025 dead battery dirty filters, both times 30-40% below market.

@WheatWhisperer_Lou thanks for posting this, I was the one who started that "are they legit?" thread last year and got roasted for being paranoid lol, ended up buying a bobcat s650 from them march 2025 and it was all good, nice to see more people having positive experiences, small family biz done right
